华人庙宇委员会(委员会)，是根据香港法例第153章《华人庙宇条例》于1928年成立的法定机构。委员会管理的「华人庙宇基金」及「华人慈善基金」是根据《香港税务条例》第88条获豁免缴税的慈善信托。委员会所得的捐款会先拨入「华人庙宇基金」，首要用于维修辖下庙宇及举办传统仪式等，盈余则可拨入「华人慈善基金」作慈善用途。该慈善基金每年均拨款予民政事务总署作为发放紧急援助予本港有需要的华籍人士，同时亦会提供拨款予其他机构以举办香港的华人慈善活动。https://www.ctc.org.hk/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/4541564165-01-300x300.jpg
