Hung Shing Temple, Ap Lei Chau – Renovation Works

Hung Shing Temple, Ap Lei Chau will be closed for renovation works effective from 20 May 2025. It is anticipated that the temple will resume operation in early July 2025. Chinese Temples Committee awarded Contract for Naked-eye 3D Display at Che Kung Temple, Sha Tin

Chinese Temples Committee (“CTC”) has signed Contract with Round Media Int. Company Limited on 27 March 2025 for providing provision of rental and installation of the LED screen wall with naked-eye 3D content design services. The Contract will commence in April 2025.

The Chinese Temples Committee (“CTC”) has signed two contracts with REC Green Technologies Company Limited pn 27 March 2025 for Replacement and Refinement of Smoke Abatement Plants and Maintenance Services at Tin Hau Temple, Shau Kei Wan and Kwun Yum Temple, Hung Hom. The works will commence in April 2025.

The Chinese Temples Committee (hereinafter referred to as "the Committee") has recently noticed that there was unauthorized filming at one of the administered temples of the Committee which was later uploaded onto a social media platform without approval or authorization. The Committee hereby declares that except for personal use, all filming of videos and/or photographs at any administered temples of the Committee must be applied for in advance and approved by the Committee. For further details, please refer to the General Rules for “Shooting Application” on the Committee's website.
