Che Kung Temple, Sha Tin — Maintenance, Repainting Works and Naked-eye 3D Display of Che Kung Statue

The Che Kung statue of the Temple will undergo maintenance and repainting works during the period from June to September 2025. During the works period, the temple will maintain normal service. The small Che Kung statue will be placed in the main hall for worship. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. In addition, the temple will feature a naked-eye 3D display showcasing the grand image of Che Kung statue during the works period.
Chinese Temples Committee awarded “2025 to 2027 Term Contract of Maintenance and Repairing in Chinese Temples (Hong Kong Island and Off-shore Island – Cheung Chau)”

Chinese Temples Committee (“CTC”) signed the captioned Term Contract with Union Contractors Limited on 20 June 2025. The Contractor is mainly responsible for the maintenance and repairing works in CTC’s administered and delegated Chinese Temples. The Term Contract will commence on 1 July 2025 with contract period of 2 years.
