主殿

本廟的正殿與古色古香的前亭相連,善信經過前亭後,便可入廟敬神。正殿中央供奉侯王,兩旁兼奉觀音及列聖,而正殿左邊為羅漢堂。每逢侯王寶誕,善信均會紛紛到來誠心上香。侯王的背景眾說紛紜,清末遺老陳伯陶指侯王是南宋功臣楊亮節,因他襄助末代皇帝(宋帝昺)南逃九龍,護駕有功,百姓建廟以紀念他的功績。另一說法指侯王是一位曾為宋帝昺治癒失眠症的楊姓村民;也有說侯王是曾協助宋兵抗元的楊姓人家的祖先。每年侯王誕期定為農曆六月十六日。

Altars are placed in the rear hall of the main temple building where Hau Wong and other deities, such as Kwun Yam (the Goddess of Mercy) are worshipped. On the left side of the main hall is Lohan Hall, where Eighteen Arhats are worshipped.

There are several legends of Hau Wong. Some refers to Yeung Leung Jit, who protected the last emperor of Southern Song Dynasty against Mongols and assisted the royal to take refuge in Kowloon. A stele prepared by Chan Pak To, an official and scholar in late Qing Dynasty, provided an account of the story can be found at the courtyard. Other believe that the temple was built to commemorate of a local villager surnamed Yeung, who cured the Emperor suffered from insomnia when the royal family fled to Kowloon City. A tale even portrayed Hau Wong was the ancestor of a well-known Yeung's family in Song Dynasty as they sacrificed themselves to defend the country from foreign military powers. The Hau Wong Festival on the 16th of the Sixth Lunar Month is a big event to worshippers.
