這塊「侯王廟聖史碑記」位於廟前庭院，刻有前清遺老陳伯陶於1911年所撰有關侯王之史蹟，碑中指出本廟源起及祀奉對象為南宋功臣楊亮節，指楊亮節曾襄助南宋末代皇帝（宋帝昺）南逃至九龍，護駕有功，世人敬其忠義，故建廟以紀念他的功績。

A craved the merits of Hau Wong by Chan Pak To, an official and scholar in late Qing Dynasty, for his loyalty to the sovereign integrity and protected the last monarch of Song Dynasty, can be found at the side of the temple building in the forecourt.
