Stone offering table
The temple has two levels in an open-plan setting. A carved wooden altar on the upper level was made in the 11th year of Guangxu (光緒) reign (1885). It is fabulously carved with peony and variegated carp, which represent fortune and personal achievement. Stone offering table on the lower level was a gift from a mining merchant surnamed Tsang (曾) in 1864, who wanted to show respect to Kwun Yum. The table is decorated with bats, peonies and vases, which imply wealth and peace.
